Forbes announced Wednesday plans to launch its 21st local-language edition, Forbes Estonia, in partnership with SK Publishing Group in Estonia.
The launch will be held in Talinn, Estonia, with the first issue to be published at the beginning of March 2012. Forbes Estonia will have an initial circulation of 20,000.
The content of Forbes Estonia will consist of 60 percent Estonian business news, commentary and features and 40 percent editorial from Forbes U.S. The Estonian edition will be published monthly.
An editor has not yet been named for the publication.
Forbes Television and Licensing President Miguel Forbes stated: “We are excited about Forbes’ expansion into the Baltic countries starting with Latvia and we feel confident that SK Media will develop an important presence for the newly launched edition in Estonia.”
Forbes also has licensee editions in Africa, Argentina, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Israel, Kazakhstan, Korea, Latvia, Middle East, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Turkey, and Ukraine.
