Forbes announced Thursday the launch of Forbes Italy in partnership with Blue Financial Communication SpA, a digital and media company.
The Italian-language monthly magazine will have a circulation of 100.000, will be distributed in Italian-speaking markets, including Italy, Monaco and Switzerland.
A website, forbesitalia.com, will launch this summer, followed by Forbes Italy magazine in the fall.
The content of Forbes Italy and forbesitalia.com will consist of 70 percent Italian and European business news, commentary and features, and 30 percent editorial content from Forbes magazines from around the world.
“We’re excited to partner with Blue Financial Communication for the launch of Forbes Italy,” said Forbes Media chief operating officer Mike Federle in a statement. “The Italian market is rich with ideas, culture and beauty, as well as great success stories, and this agreement represents an important step for Forbes’ continued expansion in Western Europe.”
This is the business magazine’s 39th licensed edition. In the past year, Forbes has also announced the launch of Forbes Finland and Forbes.fr.
