Forbes names Wood its managing director for Europe

Alex Wood

Forbes magazine has named Alex Wood its managing director for Europe. He previously was Europe editor.

Wood writes, “Forbes has always been an innovator – creating industry-leading new models of publishing and marketing engagement – and I’m looking forward to driving that spirit of innovation across Europe.

“In this new strategic role, I’ll be developing and implementing strategies for growing our European business both editorially and commercially, building deeper relationships between our audience and marketing partners, as well as representing the Forbes brand across the region. Quite simply, no other business media can offer the same scale, reach and depth of relationships with its communities, and I can’t wait to explore how we can develop those trusted networks even further within Europe

“I’m privileged to be working under the leadership of Jessica Sibley, our Chief Revenue Officer. I’ll also continue to collaborate closely with our Chief Content Officer, Randall Lane on our long-term editorial strategy: in particular identifying new areas of coverage, Forbes lists and strategic partnerships across Europe.”
