Forbes has launched an edition in Ecuador in partnership with HT Media.
The new Spanish-language edition will be published in Ecuador in association with Praisemark Cia and Carlos Mantilla, who will be the editor-in-chief.
“The launch of Forbes Ecuador is a major editorial and economic event in our country,” said Mantilla, former managing director of El Comercio, the main newspaper of the country, in a statement. “It will also offer important business opportunities, which are important during these complex times in the region.”
Forbes Ecuador will be bi-monthly with the first print edition in August. Forbes Ecuador will also organize local Forbes conferences and live events.
In addition to Forbes Ecuador, HT Media publishes Forbes Argentina. Forbes has local editions in Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia and Central America, with a total of 40 local licenses around the world.
