Forbes hires tax attorney Erb as senior editor

Kelly Erb, a tax attorney who has been blogging for Forbes.com for the past few years, has been hired by the magazine as a senior editor.

Erb will be working with Matt Schifrin in the investing department.

Erb has been a tax blogger for Forbes for the past three years as well as a contributing writer to Pennsylvania Lawyer Magazine. She has also been a tax blogger for AOL’s personal finance site walletpop.com.

And she has her own blog at taxgirl.com, which has been recognized by the ABA Journal as one of the top 100 blogs written by lawyers for the past four years running.

Erb has also written and been interviewed about taxes for CNNMoney.com, Reuters, Time, and AOL’s WalletPop, and has been tapped for her ability to explain taxes in plain English by media outlets, including National Public Radio’s “Marketplace,” ABCNews.com, Esquire, CBS Radio, Marketwatch and the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Most recently, Erb was named as a Philadelphia “40 Under 40” by the Philadelphia Business Journal.
