Forbes hires senior VP of HR and talent management

Ali Intres

Forbes announced Monday that it has hired Ali Intres as senior vice president, human resources and talent management.

Intres will oversee all facets of HR for Forbes, including recruitment, training and development, benefits administration, culture and inclusion and more.

“Ali is an accomplished media and advertising executive who understands our industry and shares our belief in a people-first culture,” CEO Mike Federle said in a statement. “She joins us at a unique moment in time and will help us continue to nurture and cultivate our employees, who are pulling together and persevering in exceptional service to our audience and to our marketing partners.”

Intres joins Forbes from Digitas, where she served as senior vice president of talent and business operations for the East Coast and was a member of the agency’s leadership team. Prior to Digitas, Intres worked at Time Inc., where she oversaw all facets of HR for the company’s central business groups.

Intres also led global recruitment efforts for Shell. Earlier in her career, Intres was a recruiting manager for Meredith Corp. and previously Worth Magazine.

Earlier this year, Federle announced that Margy Loftus, who had held the position of senior vice president of human resources, will be retiring at the end of May, marking an end to a 40-year career in media/publishing, including 22 years at Forbes.
