Forbes has hired business journalist Jena McGregor to be a senior editor.
McGregor, who has spent the last 11 years at The Washington Post, will start Oct. 1 and will be spearheading the Work and Leadership channel, leading coverage of the workplace, careers and leadership issues.
“There’s never been a more dynamic time to be guiding coverage of how work gets done and the people who manage it,” she wrote on Twitter.
Before the Post, McGregor was an associate editor at BusinessWeek where she covered leadership and management trends and ideas, corporate strategy and executive compensation. She was also a department editor at BusinessWeek and an associate editor at Fast Company.
McGregor also spent more than four years at personal finance magazine SmartMoney.
