Forbes hires Beale as an assistant editor

Forbes has hired Margherita Beale as an assistant editor.

She will start on Monday. Beale will be focusing on retail, real estate and food and drink.

Beale has been a staff writer at the Daily Democrat in Woodland, California. She also interned at Capitol Public Radio in Sacramento.

She is a graduate of Cal State-Sacramento, where she was editor in chief off the student newspaper, The Daily Hornet.
