Forbes, which moved to New Jersey in the past year, is now building a satellite office in Manhattan, reports Keith Kelly of the New York Post.
Kelly writes, “Forbes Media sold a majority interest to Asian investors in 2014, and in a cost-cutting move, left its HQ and relocated to a new 98,000-square-foot office complex on the waterfront in Jersey City in December.
“Now, the company finds it needs a satellite office in Manhattan and is in the process of building out a 7,500-square-foot space on the ground floor of a residential tower not far from its vacated headquarters in Greenwich Village.
“A spokeswoman said the new space ‘will feature a private dining room and will be used for receptions, business meetings, presentations and speaking engagements.’ The new space should be ready by the fall of 2015.”
