Forbes magazine announced five new editorial hires on Monday, including the previously reporting hiring of Jeff Bercovici from DailyFinance.com.
The other hires are:
Nicholas Sabloff has come aboard to run the home page and help guide breaking news efforts. Most recently the world editor at The Huffington Post, Sabloff shaped and built that section during a period of record growth. He previously served as deputy news editor and as an associate news editor for HuffPost. He is a graduate of Wesleyan University and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
After taking some time to write a business-focused book on Jay-Z, Zack O’Malley Greenburg returns as a staff writer for Forbes, where he’ll cover finance and entertainment and write “The Beat Report” blog on the business of music. Since 2005, Greenburg has reported on topics from tourism in Sierra Leone to the earning power of deceased rappers, interviewing personalities from Dr. Ruth to 50 Cent. His book is due out this winter.
Halah Touryalai has also recently joined Forbes as a new staff writer, where she will be working in the investing area of Forbes. Touryalai comes to Forbes from Registered Rep magazine, where she covered Wall Street and the brokerage and financial advisor industry. She previously worked at Fortune Small Business.
