Food Dive hires Oller as a senior editor

Food Dive has hired Samantha Oller as a senior editor.

“I’m looking forward to working with my new team and helping shape content for our readers, tapping my time covering convenience retail,” she wrote on Twitter.

She previously spent 16 years at Winsight LLC as managing editor of CSP, a monthly business publication with more than 100,000 readers in the convenience retail channel. She planned the story lineup for each issue, assigned writers and assisted with angles, sources and graphic options.

Oller also worked at Food Product Design as a managing editor and at American Printer magazine as an associate editor.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
