Wayne T. Price, formerly the business editor at Florida Today, based in Brevard County on Florida’s Space Coast, recently left that position.
He had been at the paper for 20 years.
Price is now director of communications at the Space Coast Health Foundation in Rockledge, Florida.
The Space Coast Health Foundation is a non-profit, founded in 2011, which each year gives out millions of dollars in grants to different organizations in Brevard that work to be better the area.
Florida Today, owned by the Gannett Co. and started by USA Today founder Al Neuharth, is actively seeking a replacement for Price to cover the Space Coast and Central Florida economy, including the burgeoning aerospace industry which takes in NASA, Space X, Blue Origin, Embraer Executive Jets, Harris Corp. and Northrop Grumman among others.
Price is a Kansas State University graduate.
