Terry Eberle, the executive editor of the Fort Myers News-Press, writes Sunday about the changes made to the paper’s Sunday business section.
“Among the improvements:
– Connections: a half-page of news and photos from Lee County’s chambers of commerce.
– Small Business Notes: a column of information about our area’s small businesses and small-business centers and help programs. It is put together by business reporter Laura Ruane, whose primary beat is small business.
– Business Scene: a page with a weekly business success story; targeted calendars for networking and professional development; photos from various local business events and brief items on businesspeople making news.
– The Week Ahead: a look at the national and local business happenings for the coming week, such as a new jobless report or earnings released by a local company.”
