Wall Street Journal business editor Dennis Berman sent out the following announcement on Friday:
We’re thrilled to announce that Joe Flint is rejoining the Journal as part of the Media and Marketing team covering television. Joe is one of the most experienced TV-beat reporters around, with a 25-year career that spans Broadcasting & Cable, Variety, Entertainment Weekly and an earlier stint at the Journal in New York between 1999 and 2006.
He took a break from journalism to join the Paley Center for Media in New York for three years. Most recently he has been at the Los Angeles Times, where he has proved himself a force on the beat and through his distinctive voice on Twitter.
Joe will be based in Los Angeles, working on the TV beat alongside Keach Hagey in New York.
