She most recently worked as an equities reporter at Bloomberg News in Zurich, Switzerland.
Cano was previously a media monitoring specialist at Credit Suisse. Prior to this, she was a producer for German national TV broadcaster ARD in Geneva. She previously also worked for Thomson Reuters.
The British national, who was born in Colombia, studied romance languages and philosophy at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg, Germany. She completed a postgraduate diploma in journalism at the London School of Journalism.
