Alex Irwin-Hunt is now global markets editor at the Financial Times.
In this role, he reports, commissions and edits for fDi Magazine, a specialist publication at the Financial Times focused on cross-border investment and economic development.
He also writes news articles, features and in-depth data-driven analysis, among other tasks.
Irwin-Hunt joined the FT in November 2018 as a contributor. In June 2019, he became the FT’s global investment reporter. He also produced fDi’s first Tech Startup FDI Attraction Index and global ranking of venture capital financed FDI.
Irwin-Hunt was also part of the general crew at the Konnect Event Series and was part of the bar staff at Antic London. He has also served as brand ambassador for BD Network and was an analyst at Entura International LTD.
Irwin-Hunt is a graduate of the University of Leeds.
