Miles Kruppa, senior writer at Absolute Return magazine, will join The Financial Times’ San Francisco bureau to cover venture capital next month.
His beat at the FT will center on chronicling money in Silicon Valley, reporting on the most significant deals, people, and institutions funding the technology industry. Kruppa has covered hedge funds for Absolute Return since 2016, also working on the publication’s research and industry rankings. Prior to that, he held editorial internships with the Houston Chronicle and Kiplinger’s Personal Finance.
Kruppa graduated from Rice University in 2016 with a B.A. in English.
Under editor Lionel Barber, the Financial Times won nearly 50 global awards and honors for its quality journalism and newsroom innovations in 2018, including the “Newspaper of the Year” and “News Team of the Year” prizes at the British Press Awards.
