Financial Post reporter Marotta joining Bloomberg to cover equities

Stefanie Marotta

Stefanie Marotta, a finance reporter covering banks, deals and fintech for the Financial Post, has left to join Bloomberg News in Canada covering equities.

She will start at Bloomberg on Monday.

She was previously with the Globe and Mail, where she worked as reporter for Report on Business, contributing reporter/research associate, reporter for the Alberta bureau, and reporter and investigative journalist.

She has also reported for the Toronto Star, Bloomberg and CBC. She also served as an associate news editor and reporter, news editor and then as editor-in-chief at The Medium.

Marotta graduated from the University of Toronto.
