The Financial Post has appointed Kevin Carmichael editor-in-chief.
He recently was a national business columnist at the Post and a member of the Centre for International Governance Innovation’s roster of researchers and commentators.
Carmichael has written about economics, business, monetary policy, politics, international affairs and culture, having previously worked as a national business correspondent and economics correspondent at The Globe and Mail.
He has also reported for Bloomberg News and The Canadian Press.
Carmichael has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Carleton University.
