Ferro named co-host of “Bloomberg Surveillance”

Jonathan Ferro is the new co-host of “Bloomberg Surveillance” on Bloomberg Radio, as well as a new show on Bloomberg Television.

He replaces David Gura, who left last month to join MSNBC.

The show airs from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. At 9, Pimm Fox joins Tom Keene for the last hour of the show, providing a transition into “Bloomberg Markets AM.” which he hosts with Lisa Abramowicz.

On Bloomberg Television, “Bloomberg Daybreak Americas” has also been re-formatted with Alix Steel and David Westin anchoring from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., focusing on corporate news, Wall Street and markets.

Then at 9 a.m., Ferro hosts “Bloomberg Markets: The Open,” a new show that focuses on news leading up to the opening bell.

In addition, Westin has joined Shery Ahn as the co-host of “Bloomberg Markets: Balance of Power” at 1 p.m. The show will continue to dive into the nexus of politics and power with an increased focus on regulation in the U.S. and beyond.

Ferro has been with Bloomberg since June 2012 and with Bloomberg Television since October 2014.
