Benjamin Landy has been hired by Fast Company to be executive editor, digital.
He replaces Paul Smalera, who left recently to join Medium. He starts Nov. 11.
Landy has been the deputy editor at Vanity Fair’s The Hive. He has also covered politics, business, and technology. Previously, he was an editor at MSNBC and a policy analyst at the Century Foundation.
“He’s joining an amazing, hardworking, smart team at one of the most beloved brands in journalism,” wrote Stephanie Mehta, editor of the magazine, on Twitter.
Landy is a Columbia University graduate.
