The Fargo Forum newspaper in North Dakota has dropped its stock listings and instead will run the Associated Press’ Money & Markets page, writes Craig McEwen of the paper.

Fargo ForumMcEwen, the business and weekend editor, wrote, “‘Local Stocks,’ a well-researched list of stocks of local interest, which replaces the Stock Watch column that previously appeared on Page C1.

“The new Local Stocks module will contain fewer listings than previously offered.

“However, readers will be directed online to www.inforum.com/business for unlimited, up-to-the-minute stocks and mutual funds listings.

“As in the past, a full-page Mutual Funds listing will appear every Monday on Page C2.

“While change can sometimes be unsettling, it is our hope and belief that this new service will provide Forum readers and investors with greatly expanded access to daily financial news, both in print and online.”
