FARE is seeking a Freelance Social Media / Marketing Assistant that is a curious, thoughtful, creative, and design-driven self-starter who would like to learn the ins and outs of running a creative agency. This amazing individual will have the opportunity to work across the agency’s functions, which may include features for FARE, the community FARE works with and its’ brands, The Art of Plating and On The Pass podcast, which reaches over 1M+ Followers and Fans across its’ channels. This role reports directly to FARE’s Creative & Principal providing valued mentorship.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Content and Social
- Help create and manage content calendar for social and digital;
- Contribute to content creation ideation sessions, assisting with the development of social based on research conducted;
- Support in scheduling content for publishing;
- Brainstorm, create, and maintain (2) weekly evergreen Content series;
- Extract content such as quotes and clips from existing podcast/video episodes for social media content and website;
- Outreach to talent for initiatives such as Instagram Takeovers, Editorials, or Podcasts Features;
- Help distribute content across social media such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Pinterest;
- Assist with copywriting for all social media posts and newsletters;
- Team Collaboration
- Work cross-functionally with the FARE team;
- Collaborate with the Podcast team on outreach and research for potential guests;
- Active participation in weekly team meetings, 1:1s, & syncs with FARE team;
- Hone your understanding of what it takes to grow and upkeep a large social media community;
- Receive personalized mentorship from the FARE team and our community of experts;
- Add new skills/expertise to your LinkedIn and social media accounts;

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in marketing, graphic design, or relevant field
- You are passionate or interested in food, hospitality, and the luxury lifestyle space;
- You believe it’s important to focus on aesthetics and attention to detail;
- You have an understanding of content creation or have an interest in learning how to connect deeper with a large audience;
- You are a strong writer and communicator, with the ability to synthesize ideas and concepts into impactful stories;
- You have experience with both short-form copywriting and long-form copywriting;
- You believe all people are equal and behave with a respect for others;
- You are curious, no-ego, high-energy, and exhibit the qualities of a learner; continually asking what you can do to make everyone around you more successful;
- You have confidence in presenting and how to sell to others;
- Familiar and feel comfortable with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or Premiere;
- Able to open and create Keynote Presentations;
- You are excited and eager to learn in a fast-paced, hands-on environment;
- You bring a fresh perspective to the team through a diversity of thought driven by your background, skills, or applied editorial design experiences;
- You are open to learning new skills and have a desire to grow personally and professionally;
- You take direction and accept constructive feedback to better yourself and to reach goals for our company;
