Ey named editor of Philadelphia Business Journal

Craig Ey, the editor of the Birmingham Business Journal, has been named editor of the Philadelphia Business Journal.

A story on the Alabama paper’s site states, “Ey, 42, has been the editor of the BBJ for four years. The Philadelphia Business Journal is a sister publication owned by American City Business Journals.

“Ey has 20 years of experience in journalism. Before his role as editor in Birmingham, he was managing editor of the Baltimore Business Journal for seven years.

“‘My family and I really enjoyed our four years in Birmingham,’ Ey said. ‘This is a community with a great heart and soul, and its potential is limitless.’

“He replaces Philadelphia Business Journal editor Bernard Dagenais, who was Business Journal editor for seven years. Ey graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in communications from Loyola University Maryland in 1990.”
