Expanded role for BostInno writer Walrath

Rowan Walrath

Rowan Walrath, a staff writer covering start-ups, research, labor and business for BostInno, has added Rhode Island Inno to her working cycle.

There, she will cover the same things including start-ups and innovation.

She will start at Rhode Island Inno next week.

Previously, she was working freelance. Before that, she was a researcher with Wired and worked as an online editorial fellow for Mother Jones. She also served as a digital correspondent at Boston Magazine and as a metro correspondent at Boston Globe Media.

Additionally, she held editorial posts and worked as a digital product management intern at The Huntington News and National Geographic Learning, respectively.

Walrath holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northeastern University.
