Alexis Glick, the former Fox Business Network anchor who helped get the business network off the ground before leaving a year ago, has joined the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation as a senior fellow.
Glick was vice president of business news and was an anchor of “Money for Breakfast” before abuptly departing Fox Business in December 2009.
Glick will advise the foundation on entrepreneurship and community engagement activities, according to a release. She was also recently appointed to the Advisory Council for CECP, the Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy, an internal forum of business CEOs and chairpersons focused exclusively on corporate philanthropy.
“It is an honor and a privilege to work with one of the world’s leaders in entrepreneurship and education,” said Glick in a statement. “The groundbreaking work that the Kauffman Foundation produces daily is a guiding force for politicians, academics, corporations and business leaders.”
