Evelyn Larrubia has joined The Markup — a publication showcasing how institutions are using technology to impact society — as managing editor for investigations.
Larrubia has had a longstanding career in journalism. Prior to joining The Markup, she worked as the executive editor at Marketplace by APM, managing editor at Southern California Public Radio, editorial director for the Investigative News Network, and the associate editor of the LA Daily Journal, among others.
Larrubia graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications. She was also a Knight Fellow at Stanford University.
