Entrepreneur makes hires, shuffles some staffers

Ray Hennessey, the editorial director at Entrepreneur Media, sent out the following staff change announcement on Tuesday:

I’d like to announce a few additions and changes to staffing as we continue to grow, both in audience and in headcount.

First, the change. Effective today, Wendy Frink will manage all of our social media here at Entrepreneur. Wendy has covered the industry and has been assisting as we looked for a permanent person to maximize our presence on social media. In the end, her work convinced us she should have that role full-time.

Tanya Klich will also be transitioning to a new role, helping to produce and manage a new video initiative called Entrepreneur Live.

These will be video interviews based on the day’s news and will complement the great hangouts that Jason, Kian, Andrea and Alex have been producing for our contributor network.

Now, the new hires. Peter Page has joined us as assistant editor, working with Stephen in shepherding the contributions of the experts who make up the broader Entrepreneur family. Peter is an experienced reporter and editor, and many of you already know he and I worked together 20 years ago at the Times of Trenton, where he was the best reporter and writer that paper had.

Also coming aboard is Peehlar Moore as a video editor. Peehlar worked in video at Dunk360 and Moguldom Media, and, here, she will be working with Kian and Alex on the exciting uptick in video offerings we plan to provide our audience.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
