Ray Hennessey, the editorial director at Entrepreneur Media, announced the following staff promotions on Monday:

I’m pleased to announce two promotions and a new hire that continue to build our New York editorial operations to support our tremendous growth.

Linda Lacina has been promoted to Special Projects Director. Linda has been an integral part of the expansion of our large projects, sponsored content and video build-out, and the new title reflects her growing portfolio. Linda has been with us for just north of a year and in that time she has revamped how we approach many of our longer-term projects and features. She is a graduate of Wayne State, with a Master’s from Columbia.

Nina Zipkin has been promoted to reporter from editorial assistant. Nina has proven there is nothing she can’t tackle in her brief tenure here, and the consistent strength of work makes her a valuable addition to our reporter ranks. In her new role, Nina will help review our past content and refresh it, as well as reporting on day-to-day news stories under Lauren’s direction. Nina is a graduate of Bryn Mawr.

Lastly, I’m happy to announce that Carly Okyle is succeeding Nina as editorial assistant. Carly has been freelancing at a number of publications and is an entrepreneur in her own right, managing her own site, The D Card. Carly graduated from Tufts and has a Master’s from NYU.

Please join me in congratulating everyone in their new roles.
