Entertainment journalist Feldberg to depart Fortune

Isaac Feldberg

Isaac Feldberg, who has been covering the entertainment industry for Fortune, is leaving the magazine on April 24 to continue freelancing.

Feldberg is among a number of freelancers who have been cut by the business magazine.

Feldberg has been covering the intersection of business and Hollywood, with a focus on overall industry trends and box office results.

He also worked for the Boston Globe as a a web producer and as a living arts correspondent.

He is a graduate of Northeastern University.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
