English departs from New York Post

Carleton English

Carleton English is leaving the New York Post to join a new venture.

She served as a financial journalist covering hedge funds and other Wall Street happenings for The Post for the last three years. Her beat included anything from the stock market, scandalous divorce settlements, cannabis companies, and more. English also worked as a reporter for TheStreet, and a special projects producer for CNBC.

Before that, English was a client associate at Laird Norton Tyee, now Laird Norton Wealth Management, from 2007-2012. Besides working with high-net-worth families on all aspects of their financial planning — investment strategy, tax planning, and estate planning — she also led financial literacy seminars for clients and young adults in the Seattle area.

English holds a Bachelor’s degree in international affairs and economic development from George Washington University.
