Heather Richards has been hired by E&E News to cover energy and the environment.
Richards is currently an energy reporter for the Casper Star-Tribune in Wyoming. She will be based in Washington for E&E News.
A native of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia, she moved to Wyoming in 2015 to cover natural resources and government in Buffalo for the Buffalo Bulletin. She joined the Star-Tribune later that year.
Richards is a graduate of Hunter College.
