Randy Woods, an economic policy editor in Washington at Bloomberg News, left the news organization last week.
Woods is now director of communications at the U.S. Congress Joint Economic Committee.
Woods had been at Bloomberg since June 2010, first as an economics and government reporter in Chile and then as a Latin America economy and government editor in Brazil. He had been an economic policy team leader in Washington since October 2016.
In an email to his colleagues, Woods wrote, “I just wanted to say thanks once again for all your help in the last couple of years. It was great working with all of you, and I’ll miss the team a lot.”
Woods previously was a senior editor at Platts and a senior editor at Business News Americas.
