Pietro Lombardi, a senior reporter covering major banks and insurers in continental Europe for Dow Jones Newswires and The Wall Street Journal, is leaving.
Lombardi joined as an intern, and has also previously co-authored several front-page stories for The Journal. He was also a data journalist at Thomson Reuters Foundation and has interned at CNN and The Washington Post.
He was also a fellow at the Investigative Reporting Workshop and has worked at Corriere della Sera, the leading Italian newspaper.
Lombardi has a M.A. in journalism and public affairs from American University.
