Dow Jones/WSJ delays return to work until March 2022

The Dow Jones & Co. staffers received the following announcement on Wednesday:

We are all becoming familiar with the fluidity of the Covid-19 pandemic and its continuing impact on our personal and professional lives. It hasn’t been easy. The good news is that despite the unpredictability, many of us have begun to reunite with our friends and families. At work, we have successfully reopened nearly all of our office for voluntary use.

As we have been monitoring public health information and guidance, we have decided to extend phase two voluntary office use until March 2022, along with Life-Work Leave, which will now continue through March 2022.

Keep in mind that all of our workplaces have extensive health protocols in place to keep everyone safe — you’ll find them on the My Location page of our internal site. We encourage you to come in and try out the new office experience over the next few months.

We are continuing preparations for our next phase of office used in all of our global locations. We are excited about how this next phase will enable new ways of working collaboratively together — at home and in the office — while offering your flexibility.
