Overall revenue for parent company News Corp.’s news and information services division, which includes Dow Jones, increased 1 percent in the fourth quarter to $1.29 billion, according to is earnings release on Thursday.
Overall, Dow Jones saw a 3 percent increase in revenue in the third quarter.
Digital revenues for Dow Jones account for 33 percent of its total revenue, up from 30 percent in the same quarter a year ago. Digital accounts for 53 percent of its circulation revenue.
The Journal averaged 1.59 million digital subscribers in the quarter that ended June 30, up 25.2 percent from the end of the fourth quarter a year ago.
