Dow Jones renews Bloomberg agreement

Dow Jones & Co. announced Tuesday the renewal of its global agreement with Bloomberg to deliver Dow Jones’s news, commentary and analysis products to Bloomberg users via the Bloomberg professional service.

“Dow Jones has a long and valued relationship with Bloomberg,” said Richard Hanks, senior vice president and chief operating officer of Dow Jones Enterprise Media Group. “We are pleased to continue working with Bloomberg to offer Bloomberg users the option of adding Dow Jones’s in-depth analysis and breaking news right on their desktops as part of the comprehensive Bloomberg service.”

Dow Jones Newswires journalists produce content that includescorporate, economic, market, financial and political news. Reporting from nearly 90 bureaus across the globe, Dow Jones publishes up to 12,000 items each day, in 11 languages, covering all asset classes. Dow Jones’s products are used by more than 435,000 financial professionals in 66 countries.

Bloomberg is one of more than 150 licensed distributors of Dow Jones news worldwide, offering access to a range of Dow Jones’s real-time news and information services.
