Dow Jones Newswires Americas senior editor Rick Stine sent out the following announcement Monday afternoon:
I am pleased to announce that Brian Cronk, who has been overseeing Newswires wealth management coverage for the past several years, is moving into a new position as head of editorial for the custom publishing group of Dow Jones. Brian will be based in San Francisco. The custom publishing group produces magazines, websites and mobile applications for some of the large financial services companies. In his new role, Brian will oversee the editorial content created by this group and will work editorial counterparts and business teams within Dow Jones.
Brian joined Dow Jones Newswires in 2008 as assistant managing editor of the personal finance and practice management group and became managing editor for wealth management. Previously, he was an editor for 12 years at The Wall Street Journal for Personal Journal, WSJ Sunday, WSJ Reports and WSJ Europe. He has also been a managing editor at TheStreet.com and an editor at newspapers including the San Francisco Chronicle.
In the interim, deputy managing editor Kevin Noblet will oversee the wealth management reporting group.
Please join me in wishing Brian much success in his new assignment.
