Dow Jones Newswire editors switching jobs

The Associated Press is reporting that two Dow Jones Newswire top newsroom executives are swapping jobs effective this August.

Gabriella Stern, who had overseen news operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, has been named senior editor for the Asia Pacific region. She will be replaced in her spot by Marcus Wright, who had been the Asia Pacific chief.

Stern had been in her previous role since 2000, based in London. Wright had also been in his slot since the same year.

Previously, Stern was The Wall Street Journal’s news editor in New York for health and science.
