We’re pleased to share that Robert Hayes is appointed Chief Business Officer, New Ventures.
In this newly created role, Rob will oversee growth across our franchises by driving emerging businesses and platforms, such as audio, video, events, strategic partnerships and gaming. These areas are core to our strategic priorities to build scale and connect with new communities.

Prior to joining NBCUniversal, Rob was Senior Vice President & General Manager, Digital Media at Showtime Networks Inc., where he led the network’s international and digital businesses, developing multi-platform on-demand video subscription platforms and services. Rob started his career at HBO, launching its first international premium television channels in Central Europe and Asia.
Please join us in giving Rob a warm welcome to Dow Jones. Rob will be based in New York and will report to me. His first day is May 11.
