Dolan paper in St. Louis names new editor

Missouri Lawyers Media has named veteran journalist Fred Ehrlich as editor of its papers, including the Missouri Lawyers Weekly.

A story on its website states, “Ehrlich, who most recently was an assistant metro editor with the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, will oversee editorial content for Missouri Lawyers Weekly, the St. Louis Daily Record, The St. Louis Countian, The Jefferson Countian, The Daily Record of Kansas City, the St. Charles County Business Record and the group’s websites, molawyersmedia.com and mlmcounties.com.

“‘I’m thrilled to be part of such a quality organization,’ Ehrlich said.

“Before spending 13 years at the Post-Dispatch, Ehrlich was a bureau chief with the Tampa Tribune and earlier in his career held a variety of editorial roles with the Belleville News-Democrat including business editor.

“He earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and political science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He and his family live in O’Fallon, Mo.

“Missouri Lawyers Media also announced that Scott Lauck, who has worked for the organization for nine years and had served as managing editor since February, will become a senior reporter so that he can devote more time to reporting and writing.”
