Digital Trends smart home editor Velasco departs

John Velasco

John Velasco, smart home editor at Digital Trends has left after over 2 years to join Spy.com, where he will be handling the entire gadgets vertical as a tech editor.

He is also the co-founder of Red Bank Pulse, a local lifestyles website focusing on events, food, community causes, fashion, and much more. He was also an editor at PhoneArena and was editor-at-large at Android Authority, an online publication focusing on the world of Android and tech.

Velasco is a graduate of College of New Jersey.
