Meira Gebel has joined Digital Trends as a reporter.
She will be covering everything internet and tech culture related.
Previously, she was working as a tech fellow and freelance writer at Business Insider. Before that, Gebel was a reporting intern for The Detroit Free Press and also held the posts of a research intern and copy editor at the San Francisco Business Times and Beaumont Enterprise, respectively.
Additionally, she has also held the posts of editorial intern and news and features intern at San Francisco Magazine and Mission Local. Inc., respectively. She also worked as a copy editor at the San Francisco State Xpress Magazine.
Gebel holds a bachelor’s degree in print and online journalism from San Francisco State University and a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University.
