Cale Guthrie Weissman has been named the new editor at Digiday’s Modern Retail where he will be leading the editorial content team to greater heights.
In his new role, he will be working with reporters Anna Hensel and Gabriela Barkho.
Previously, Weissman was working as a freelance reporter covering technology, entrepreneurship, culture, science, and media. Before that, he was first working as a staff writer and then as an associate news editor at Fast Company.
Weissman has also worked at Business Insider as a reporter covering cybersecurity and tech politics/culture. Before joining Business Insider, Weissman was a research intern with The Berkman Center for Internet and Society.
Weissman is a B.A. in political science from Reed College.
