Digiday has hired Michael Burgi as a senior editor for media buying and planning.
He will cover how media agencies are transforming.
Burgi was previously senior vice president for DeGennaro Communications, overseeing content creation for clients such as Refinery 29. He previously was features editor and director of editorial partnerships for Adweek.
He was also former editor in chief and associate publisher of Mediaweek.
