Diamond now writing for Chief Investment Officer

Randy Diamond

Randy Diamond is now writing for Chief Investment Officer about the world of institutional investing.

He is also consulting with the news organization on asset management and financial industry developments. He has written recently for RIABiz and Top 1000 Funds.

Diamond left Pensions & Investments, a Crain publication, following the closure of the news organization’s San Francisco office in January. He had covered CalPERS and CalSTRS, the two largest pension plans in the US and the business of money management.

Diamond previously was a business reporter for The Tampa Tribune and the Palm Beach Post. He also worked at the New York Daily News and the Bergen Record.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
