Reuters deputy money editor Beth Pinsker is leaving the news organization for a job at Fidelity.
Her last day at Reuters is Friday. She starts at Fidelity on Monday, and her title will be director, editorial services working on the Viewpoints team.
Pinsker, who is a certified financial planner, joined Reuters nearly nine years ago. Previously, she was editor of WalletPop.com, the personal finance site owned by AOL where she took the site from its public launch to a peak of 10 million unique visitors per month.
Pinsker was also editorial director of dealnews.com.
She also held positions at iVillage, Inside.com and the Dallas Morning News. Additionally, Pinsker has been a freelance writer, and her stories on business news and entertainment have appeared in publications including Wired, The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times.
