Denver Post business editor Kristi Arellano sent out the following staff announcement:
I’m happy to announce that Marcus Chamberland will be making the move to the business desk to take over the Deputy Business Editor position. Since joining The Post in 2003, Marcus has been an assistant copy chief on the metro and business desks, as well as filled in on the sports desk and written about beer for features. Not only has he saved us from ourselves more times than I care to admit, he also has a keen eye for business news and is frequently spotting trends or stock market movement that lead to stories.
Mark won’t officially move over until the Assistant Editor position has been filled. That job has been posted. Please see John Ealy if you’re interested.
Chamberland has also worked at the Dallas Morning News and the Houston Chronicle. He is a University of Texas graduate.
