The Denver Post has hired Megan Boyanton as a business reporter covering the state’s marijuana industry and social inequalities in business.
She will start on Jan. 17.
Boyanton reports on the agriculture and trade policy beat for Bloomberg Government on Capitol Hill. She serves as vice chair of the Guild at Bloomberg Industry Group and co-chair of OPEN, the company’s LGBT+ organization. She is a member of the Overseas Press Club and North American Agricultural Journalists.
Boyanton is a Beltz Award for Editorial Excellence winner and White House Correspondents’ Association scholar.
She graduated from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication with her master’s degree in mass communication. Boyanton previously reported on the social justice beat as a Washington correspondent for Arizona PBS.
