Decrypt hires TheStreet’s Elliott as senior writer

Stacy Elliott

Decrypt Media has hired Stacy Elliott as a senior writer.

She joins from The Street, where she was a senior reporter covering the intersection of institutional investing and crypto.

Her new role begins Nov. 8.

She also served as product manager and vice president at Goldman Sachs.

She has previously worked as a data editor at Fortune magazine and as a data journalist at Bankrate Inc. She was also a business reporter at The Star-Ledger and was an immigration reporter at Capital News Service, the news wire affiliated with the University of Maryland, College Park.

Elliott has a B.A. in journalism from Rowan University and a M.A. in journalism from University of Maryland.
